- For your Info TIA Also Supports CSLIP and PPP! I use CSLIP on the Amiga since
- it's just as fast as the Registered PPP anyway so why get a Registered version
- of PPP? CSLIP works Great. I use PPP when I'm running Shapeshifter because
- it's just as fast as CSLIP but easyer to setup.
-
- My Suggestion is to get a Copy of SlipCall from AmiNet! Screw all the
- Startnet/Stopnet Crap. SlipCall has a Built in Dialer, and it's EASY to
- configure and setup a Login Script. I never could get PPP working with it
- either though, and really don't care, but it's Simple to get CSLIP setup.
- Download a copy, and if you have any problems on how to set things up let me
- know, E-Mail me. It's pretty Simple though.
-
- I do have Startnet/Stopnet crap working also, but I just use SlipCall anyway
- just because I don't need to use a Term program to log me on and run it's
- script to startup TIA, and then having to Quit so I can startup execute
- Startnet, thats just a PAIN.
-
- Trust me, GRAB a copy of SlipCall. The BEST thing of all is that SlipCall is
- FreeWare, and I would have still Payed for it if it wasn't anyway.
